| Description: | The Megacross race track is a well groomed, technical track that is a combination of supercross and motocross style obstacles. It is what we call here in Illinois a Stadium Motocross. Rythum sections, table tops, whoops, one triple, and a couple of doubles. The track is designed so that the expert rider has a challenge but the C rider won't be scared out of his or her mind. The track is man made and built in the historic Tri-County Fairgrounds, which has a really cool covered grandstand and excellent concessions. The track is a night track with good lighting, has a 20 place drop back gate, and has an excellent mowed pit area with a great view. |
| Practice: |
This track does not have any practice except on race events. Its a bi-monthly night series with Honda, Suzuki, and Husqvarna Contingency and also really nice overall awards. Usually a 7 or 8 race series thoughout the summer with a year end banquet or a play day at the end of the season. Please follow the link at the bottom of this page to the web site of MEGACROSS for more details. |
