Description:

Description of Log Road Motocross:

Main Track:

Track terrain is some what rolling, GP type layout Approximately 1.5 mi. long There are Several different ways to run the layout so the track is different in some sections race to race. There are some man made jumps (single, double, triple jumps and whoops) in selected areas of track witch follow the rolling terrain. All jumps are designed to be as safe as possible.(ex. safe landing that aren't peaked on doubles and triples).

Dirt type is mostly a gravel and sand combination and is loamy with a few hard pack spots. The ground waters well and dries very fast after heavy rain this makes it possible for Log Road to be run in the early spring. Tire recommendation is intermediate to soft terrain tire.(ex. Brigdestone M-70, Dunlop 756) .

Pee-Wee Track:

The Peewee track is approx. 3/8 mile and is separate from the big track and has a twenty man starting gate designed for the smaller bikes. The terrain is somewhat rolling, has a lower wooded section and has obstacles that are well suited for peewee riders of all levels.

Log Road feels that by giving the peewee riders their own track the races are 7-10 laps instead of 2-3 on big track and riders gain more experience picking lines and competing with other riders on their own track.
